National Peace Officers Memorial Day

Today is National Peace Officers Memorial Day, a time to honor our law enforcement officers and pay tribute to those who have fallen.

We’re honoring La Habra Police Officer Michael Osornio who was killed in the line of duty on October 31, 1994, and the 394 officers killed in the line of duty for 2020.

As a special tribute, the La Habra Police Memorial Foundation, Inc. is in the process of fundraising for a memorial to be built to the front of the La Habra Police Department. The memorial is to honor Officer Osornio and pay tribute to all First Responders.
