OFFICERS NEED ASSISTANCE

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE INFORMATION FROM LA HABRA POLICE DEPARTMENT AS OF AUGUST 7, 2021:

Hello everyone,

As information is released from the La Habra Police Department, we will share their press release information on the La Habra Police Memorial Foundation's social media channels. The Foundation WILL NOT release/distribute any other information about the officers or the investigation except that is released or distributed by the La Habra Police Department.

You may ask why this stance? It is unfortunate in these types of critical incidents many well-intentioned people will start sharing tidbits of information or in some cases "gross" misinformation.

Distributing or sharing that type of information leads to confusion and generally has a negative effect on anything law enforcement officials are trying to investigate or share as a public safety issue.

The La Habra Police Memorial Foundation is a separate nonprofit charitable organization that exists to help La Habra PD and other Law Enforcement and First Responder organizations.

Our sole purpose is to provide assistance when needed and asked for by the entities mentioned above. However, we as an independent charity will always accept financial support or in-kind donations for just these occasions.

The Foundation's only donation platforms are on our Facebook and Instagram pages and our website. We can distribute donation information via those platforms, via our blog, through Foundation email distribution, and our text to donate capability.
